The best we can do is try to resist death. For instance, I have not seen anyone who refused to die when death came knocking. However, every day in our lives, we see things that ought to make us know that none of us has the final say in anything that concerns us. He or she thinks he or she is bigger than every one else. “A whole me!” Whenever you hear someone say something like this, then, you have seen someone who thinks he or she has the final say. In some places, these people who think they have the final say have constituted themselves into terrorists, to the extent that not many people would want to hold a different view from their own, or to put it the proper way, not many would like to cross their ways. Most times, they will hit their hands on whatever is available, whether their chests, the table or the ground and challenge you to a bet if they would not show you who they are or to teach you a lesson of your life. They threaten other people’s peace, always ready to ask you if you do not know who they are and what they can do. They are in the families, church, government, schools, markets and even clubs. What is more painful is that there are very many of such people all over the place. They behave as if this world belongs to them, despite the fact that none of us was there when the world was being created and that human beings were the last to be created, of all things created. Jeho vah.I hate to see people talk, behave and generally carry themselves as if they have the final say over every matter. Jeho wah is not right, but only JHVH, i.e. Likewise, the letter W does not exist in the Hebrew language. Why does the name JEHOVA H stand for H as the last letter? Because H is the last letter in the abbreviated name JHV H. “ THE GREAT JEHOVAH has proclaimed from His throne, “ This is My beloved Son.”. And the one who receives it is not the Source of everything! The One Source of everything is the Source of the name too. Some go so far as to claim that the name Jehovah “signifies the Trinity.” The truth is that the Father is named Jehovah. Did He receive it from the Father, Who also bears the name Jehovah? Does it give Him the same level of authority with the Father?ĭid Jesus get the name ‘Jehovah’, and did that name give Jesus the same level of authority that the Father has? Some interpret the clear words that Jehovah God is the “Source of all things” and apply them to Jesus because Jesus is also called Jehovah.
